Technician Warren Artis
On October 12th, 2011, the Fairfax Resolves Chapter visited Fire Station 30 in Merrifield, Virginia to award Technician Warren Artis the 2011 Emergency Medical Services Commendation. Technician Artis is assigned to Fire Station 09, B-Shift, ( Mount Vernon).
Warrn Artis receives the Fairfax Resolves EMS Commendation from Chapter President Darrin Schmidt. The station's mobile command post vehicle serves as a backdrop.
Technician Artis is Warren has been a proud member of the Fire and Rescue Department for over 24 years. During his tenure, he has been a model that younger members of the Department look to for inspiration, and Warren can often be found mentoring probationary Firefighters and EMT's. His professionalism and compassion is contagious among his shift members.
For his commitment to his work and the guidance that he provides to his colleagues, Technician Warren Artis was awarded the SAR EMS Commendation Medal.
