The Fairfax Resolves 2011 essay competition was recently won by Shanna Bishop, a student at Bishop O’Connell High School. Ms. Bishop read her winning essay, “Perseverance Pays Off: James Madison’s Pivotal Role in the Framing and Ratification of the U.S. Constitution,” to an enthusiastic crowd at the April Chapter meeting.
