2010 Recipients

 

Deputy Chief James Walsh, Opns. A-Shift, receives a flag certificate from Chapter President Jack Sweeney on behalf of Fairfax County Fire Station No. 422.

•  Oakwood Elementary School - Principal Amy T. Goodloe received an SAR Flag Certificate for the Oakwood Elementary School during a ceremony held on February 17th. Three members of the Fairfax Resolves Chapter Color Guard were present for a ceremony that also included recognition of the school's Safety Patrol.

 

•  St. Veronica Catholic School - On 10 Sep 2010, in conjunction with a special “9/11” Commemorative Mass and SAR induction ceremony for Father Edward Hathaway, an SAR Flag Certificate was awarded to Mary Baldwin, the Principal of St. Veronica Catholic School. Three members of the Fairfax Resolves Chapter Color Guard were present in Virginia Continental Line uniform as William Price and Chapter President Jack Sweeney made the presentation.

 

•  Fairfax County Fire Station No. 422 - Fairfax Resolves presented an SAR Flag Certificate to Fairfax County Fire Station No. 422. Deputy Chief James Walsh, Opns. A-Shift, received the certificate on behalf of the station in a ceremony on October 23rd.
