Eagle Scout Scholarship
The Eagle Scout Scholarship Program is a youth program that honors our young men who attain the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts of America and is designed to promote leadership skills in our nation’s youth. The Fairfax Resolves Chapter participates in this program each year by acknowledging local Eagle Scouts with a certificate of recognition and encouraging them to enter into the scholarship program.

Aidan Patrick Toole is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 913 in Herndon, Virginia. He attained the rank of Eagle Scout on June 25, 2013 and was inducted into Fairfax Resolves on November 13, 2014.
Compatriot Toole has held several leadership positions in Troop 913, including Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Instructor, Assistant Patrol Leader, Summer Camp Staff, Junior Assistant Scoutmaster, and Den Chief.
As with all scholarship participants, Compatriot Toole submitted a 4 generation Ancestor Chart and a 500 word essay with bibliography. His essay spoke to his own family history, and how his Patriot ancestor, Russell Hunt, participated in the American War for Independence. As the 2014 Chapter winner, Compatriot Toole received the SAR Eagle Scout Medal, certificate and a $150 cash scholarship. We are proud of Compatriot Toole, and wish him well in all of his future endeavors.
