Americanism Elementary School
Poster Contest
The Sons of the American Revolution Americanism Poster Contest was founded to stimulate interest for American History by fourth and fifth grade students learning about the American Revolution. The topic for the Poster Contest is set by the Americanism Committee each spring in preparation for the upcoming school year. The contest is judged at the National Level each year at the SAR Congress where a representative of the National Art Education Association (NAEA) is invited to participate in the poster judging. Savings bonds, certificates, and ribbons are awarded to students who submit winning posters for the national competition.
