Patriotic Flag Program
The Sons of the American Revolution promote patriotism as part of its charter. The Patriotic Flag Program is a way for a chapter to recognize citizens or organizations who regularly and properly display the Flag of the United States.

• Bald Head Island Department of Public Saf - A Flag Certificate was presented to the Bald Head Island Department of Public Safety on August 1, 2014. Caroline Mitchell, Director of Public Safety, received the certificate.

• Fire Station 29, Tysons Corner - A Flag Certificate was presented to Fire Station 29, Tysons Corner, on October 8, 2014. Providence Chapter DAR member Marsha Price also presented a Flag Certificate on behalf of the DAR. Both certificates were presented to the entire staff.

• Fire Station 10 (Baileys Crossroads) in Falls Church, VA - The Chapter presented a Flag Certificate to Station 10 on October 8, 2014 at Fire Station 10. The chapter was joined by Providence DAR Historical Preservation Committee Chairman Marsha Price. She presented a DAR Flag Certificate on behalf of the Providence Chapter.
